I’ve been doing astrophotography for over 10 years. I’ve visited various observatories across Slovakia, but staying on Lomnický Štít was definitely the most unforgettable experience.
I was prepared for extreme cold and strong winds, but four nights with a mild minimum of -6°C and complete calm were a pleasant surprise 🙂
Standing in comfort on the second-highest peak in Slovakia, watching views that felt like a living panorama—it was something truly surreal and hard to put into words 🙂
