Lapszanka and the Milky Way over the Tatras

A clear, moonless night didn’t let us sleep – and we had to make the most of it. A well-known spot among photographers, Lapszanka didn’t escape our cameras either.
We hit the road at sunset and arrived at the location three hours later. The Milky Way appeared above the Tatras at 2:45 AM, and the first light of dawn began at 3:20. By 4:00, we were already heading back home.
Whenever the conditions are right for shooting, I try to make the most of it – even for just a few precious minutes.
Even though the lack of sleep took its toll, every single minute was worth it.
What do you think – was it worth it?
